Before you pay anything, we take your current site and rebuild it properly, then send you a link. We keep the wording and photos that work and fix the parts that don't.

Wrong hours, a photo you hate, a service you no longer offer. Say it in plain English and we'll make the changes before anything goes live. There is no limit on changes while we get it right, on any plan.

It goes live, and stays current
We point your own domain at the new site and take over the upkeep from there. From then on, updating your website means writing a quick request in your client portal.

I started Upkeep Sites so small businesses could have a website that stays current without the hassle. I'm based just outside Pittsburgh, and every request you send through your client portal comes straight to us, not a ticket queue. No account manager, no call center, no one reading from a script.

You never edit the site yourself. On every plan you tell us what changed and we make the update. Changes while we build your site are unlimited on every plan. The four updates a month on Essential are updates we make for you, and that allowance starts once you are happy with the site and it is live. Every plan starts with 7 days free. Your card is taken at checkout, nothing is charged until day 8, and if you cancel before then you pay nothing. Monthly is then billed for the upcoming month in US dollars and renews each month until you cancel, with no contract and no minimum term. Yearly is paid upfront, providing two months free with 30 days to change your mind for a full refund. Either way your domain is registered in your name and stays yours. Payments are processed securely by Stripe. Upkeep Sites never sees or stores your card details.

I already have a website. Can you just take it over?
Yes! We will take your site, keeping what works and fixing what doesn't. Then we will point your existing address to the new version, all without having to shut down your site.
How can I cancel?
Cancel any time from your secure Stripe billing page, using the Manage billing link at the bottom of every page. Or send us an email or give us a call and we'll cancel it for you.
Cancel during your 7-day free trial and you are never charged. After that, on monthly there's no contract, no minimum term and no cancellation fee. On yearly you have 30 days from your first payment to change your mind and get all of it back.

How will I know my request has been seen?
Every request is kept on record with when it was received and when the update was completed. We want no update request to slip through the cracks!
How do I ask for an update?
Your client portal is an account where you message us with any update requests. These can be as simple as "we are closed for the Fourth of July". Our job is to locate the relevant pages and make all the updates necessary, taking all the stress off of you!
Do I have to make the updates myself?
No. That is the whole point. You never log in to an editor or move anything around. You tell us what changed, in plain English, and we make the update on your site. Essential includes four of these a month and Unlimited has no limit. Think of it as having a web developer on call without the salary.
How do I get into my client portal?
Right after you subscribe, we email you an invitation to set up your account. From then on, the Client login button at the top of every page takes you to your portal at upkeepsites.com/portal, where you can message us with requests, view your draft site and see your site analytics.
Who owns the domain name?
You do, always. It stays registered in your name and we never hold it hostage. If you already have one, we connect it. If you don't, we'll help you register it in your own account.
